Itinerary

In the early morning, our representative will pick you up from your hotel for an exploration of the desert's top highlights in a modern jeep. The journey takes you to the heart of the Sinai Peninsula, where you'll discover the Saint Catherine Monastery. Nestled at 1570 meters, this ancient monastery is situated at the foot of Mount. Sinai, where Moses witnessed the burning bush. The monastery, dating back to the 6th century, was named after Saint Catherine in the 11th century to honor the early Christian martyr from Alexandria. After exploring the monastery, travel about 65 kilometers north to reach the starting point of the track leading to the awe-inspiring Colored Canyon. Marvel at the narrow walls, reaching 40 meters in height and just over a meter wide in some parts, displaying a stunning array of hues from dark brown to red to straw yellow due to the presence of magnesium and iron oxides. At the end of the tour our representative will drive you back to your hotel.
